What We Do
The New Moon Covenant is a community of Modern Magickal Practitioners who seek to bring legitimacy to the craft as a collection of sciences. Because one person recording their findings over a lifetime is interesting, but countless practitioners recording their findings over generations is data. And we believe that data can be used to guide future generations to discovery and fulfillment in the craft as scientists and in their daily lives as practitioners.
The framework for this community includes:
Temples and spiritual leaders who will guide practitioners towards spiritual balance on an individual basis, while still building the strength of our communities.
Schools from pre-K through universities with carefully trained teachers, instructors, and professors who will guide practitioners in discovering not only how to ground their magick in the scientific laws of nature but also towards finding effective ways to pursue their individual paths without having to walk them alone every step of the way. And of course New Moon Covenant schools will strive to raise the standards of learning.
and Vocations in, and supported by our community. Craft specific vocations (such as a herbalist) and craft supportive vocations (such as any mainstream vocation) as well as vocational training for practitioners who strive to have craft-centric lifestyles beyond our temples and schools.
